Club Sensationzzz scores new gig

Club Sensationzzz (Sam, Galloway Allbright; Ryan Mattingly) will produce and perform their new sketch comedy show at the Avenue Theater on Wednesday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. If all goes well (i.e., the loyal supporters of all things Sam fill the seats, applaud early and often, thus impressing the club owners of their drawing power) they'll become part of the Avenue's stellar Wednesday Night Series. All tickets are $10 and includes one free drink and 90 minutes of entertainment.

last night's show at the avenue was hillarious. the venue, the scene, everything was pretty cool. i liked the cheese bit, and the writer/editor was my favorite (sam should rely more on his non-verbal responses in this skit. his non verbal is very funny, and the writing is good enough to allow for more of a one-sided narrative. when the audience is giving a big enough laugh, the verbal response can take away from the energy). and of course the dick jokes were funny (consider using impressions and placing the scene as three famous people talking. i would get a kick out of 3 presidents talking about their accomplishments, quickly running out of content (of course), then having to move to the size of their johnson in order to have anything to offer. i also suggest continuing and improving the short takes. stuff like that keeps a show in good flow, and they keep people laughing. one final thought: keep each skit relevant, and always have an underlying theme or message (the presidents are talking about their dicks, which is funny, but the underlying message is their pathetic attempt to cover for their political performance.
great job!
