Sam is in the Finals!

The New Faces Contest started July 23rd with 130 comedians. Each week seven comics were eliminated while three moved on to subsequent rounds. Tonight Sam advanced to the finals in the Comedy Works's 10th Annual New Talent Search presented by Frontier Airlines. Sam will compete with nine other comedians on Monday, September 24 (8:00 p.m. / $12). While humble, he is extraordinarily pumped. Thanks for your support, Denver.

Improv Sampler, Carsen Theater, Boulder, Friday, August 10

The Improv Sampler is a series of improv shows to raise money for the 2007 Denver Improv Festival scheduled for October 11-14. Tomorrow Sam performs with the Bovine Metropolis's On the Spot troupe at Boulder's Dairy Center for the Arts ($12 / 8 p.m.).

Club Sensationzzz! Avenue Theater! Tonight!

Club Sensationzzz (Sam, Galloway Allbright; Ryan Mattingly) perform an all new sketch comedy show this evening beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Avenue Theater. Because of the exuberant response to July's show, Club Sensationzzz is now part of the Avenue's Wednesday Night Series. So grab somebody and fill the seats to keep the owners happy. All tickets are $10 and includes one free drink and 90 minutes of funny.
