Sam participates in round one of the Comedy Works New Faces Contest '07 on Monday, June 18 (8:00 p.m. / $12). Nine comedians doing five minute sets are featured in each first round show with the top three advancing to the second round (here's the list of scheduled performers).

Burt's Maintenance

Sam will play with Burt's Maintenance at the "Battle Royale" at the Bovine Metropolis every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ($5) until further notice (which means they will have lost in their frequent but controversial defense of the long-form improvisation title).

Sam thought Iggy looked pretty good for a 60 year old ex-junkie and, regarding the addition of Mike Watt on bass, said, "He was really swell."
