Sam performed tonight with Cows on a Plane at the Bovine Metropolis's Improv Hootenanny. That is all.

Bleu Cow5 on a Plane II

Cows on a Plane will perform in the Bovine Metropolis Theatre's adult-oriented, comedy variety show, Bleu Cow5 II, on Friday, July 13 (11:00 p.m. / $5).

For those of you keeping score, this is Sam's fifth scheduled appearance of the week.

June gigs

Bovine Metropolis Theatre:

• Bleu Cow5 II, adult-oriented, comedy variety show; June 8 (Friday / 11:00 p.m. / $5). Sam will be performing with Club Sensationzzz.
• Improv Hootenanny, game, comedic, environmental, dramatic and/or long-form improvisation; June 11 (Monday / 7:30 p.m. / $5). Sam performs with Brother Benjamin.
• Battle Royale, long-form improvisation; June 12; 19 (Tuesday / 7:30 p.m. / $5). Sam will perform with Playpen.

Comedy Works:

• New Faces Contest Round 1, stand-up comedy; June 18 (Monday / 8:00 p.m. / $12).
  

Avenue Theater:

• Burt's Maintenance (Sam's troupe) and Plays Well With Others will perform long-form improvisation sometime near the end of June. Stay tuned.
  

Cows ends its 12 week run

The show closed this evening before a rowdy, appreciative crowd. Sam wants to thank his fellow cast members--Galloway Allbright, Chris Gallegos, Ryan Mattingly, Yvette Rebik, Rick Rothenberg, Meredith Winfield and Shannon Wood--for their support and talent throughout the "Cows on a Plane" adventure.

Radio Avenue

Today members of the Bovine Metropolis's Acme Comedy Players performed at the Avenue Theater reprising many of the torch songs from Cows on a Plane. The recorded proceedings, Radio Avenue, will be broadcast Monday, May 7th at 8:00 p.m. on KGNU community radio and forever online.

Battle Royale update

Despite their inspired performance, reigning champ Burt's Maintenance was eliminated last night at the weekly "Battle Royale" at the Bovine Metropolis. Nice run, gentlemen.

The Battle Royale March Madness champion will be decided next Tuesday, April 3 (7:30 p.m. / 5 bucks). Sam plays with two of the four long-form improv ensembles still vying for the coveted title: Gary aka Club Sensationzzz (Galloway Allbright; Ryan Mattingly) and Cows on a Plane (Galloway Allbright, Chris Gallegos, Yvette Rebik; Meredith Winfield).
